CADENCE: PIX + REVIEW

WOW! Another fantastic Cadence event in DC went down last Thursday. Getting to tag with Jungle Jessi to warm up the dance floor for the UK Headliners was simply AMAZING! Liquid drum & bass vibes could be felt throughout the building at Flash. Collette Warren kicked off her birthday at midnight on the mic while Ben Soundscape kept the music flowing. Ben & Collette both run some sweet drum & bass labels and it was a treat to hear a lot of the releases live (Intrigue Music / Carnelian Music) . BCee played loads of vocal drum & bass tracks, and didn’t disappoint delivering his signature Spearhead Records sound. The Elders kept it tight with those sweet Baltimore house beats all night in the flash bar. The whole night was a vibe !! I only got a few snaps at the beginning and end of the night (dancing was first on the agenda). Big love to all those who contribute to all the amazing times we’ve been having lately in DC!!
