2Tuff Weekend in the RVA: Pix

It was an absolute pleasure to host the 2Tuff DC crew in the RVA all weekend. We kicked off the weekend on Friday at Ember Music Hall for a 360 Party featuring the GLITCH MOB, GRRL, & 2Tuff’s DJ SLANT & KEN LAZEE, and JOANNA O. The crew got the drum and bass vibes popping off to set the party tone, GRRL stepped up after with some gabber beats, followed by the Glitch Mob and their modular breakbeat live set. Super fun times at the Ember on Friday. Big ups to all the headz we danced with! #2Tuff forever.

If you find yourself in the RVA on a weekend .. then you know that the Infamous Drag Brunch at the famed Godfreys is a MUST! Drag queens and brunch – it’s the absolute best! You have to get those reservations way in advance though, not a spot you can just show up to. It’s a whole show. And we love it! Big ups Godfreys family & the crew!

Saturday nights in the RVA starts off with RADIO! Turnstyle’s Frequency at 9 pm et gets you ready for a night out proper. We headed to the studio to take over the airwaves on 97.3fm WRIR with the drum and bass business. We ended the night doing what else … clubbing! The crew headed to our only actual spot that currently resembles a nightclub in RVA – LOSO, formerly called the Jungle room ..that still doesn’t play any jungle / drum and bass music. They are so missing out on these good #DNBVIBES. Fun techno sets heard though.
