Music outside with drum & bass + house vinyl dj sets, plus several new featured shirts from Active Soul Design.

PATRICK CURRIER (DNB) 9-10pm

Patrick started spinning vinyl in 1998 and quickly began playing at local events. In 2001 he moved out to Tacoma, Washington and was thrust deep into the North west drum and bass scene. He started producing in 2004 and has a very unique sound with passionate melodies and deep basslines. His production spectrum ranges from liquid style drum and bass to hard raga/breakcore. He currently resides in Hampton Roads Virginia and has released tracks on labels: Flatwoods Creative, The Seed,Faction Digital, and Retox. His VA Pressure affiliated parties in Hampton Roads have seen a wealth of EDM talent roll thru the state in the past years. Most recently, the popular Faction monthly held at The Lounge in VA Beach.

JOHN JACOB  (Funky house & Disco) 8-9pm

John has been spinning house tracks since 1998. His style of house ranges across the board, but mostly with elements of funk and disco. He is a longtime DJ / Promoter from Hampton Roads. An experienced house music dj who knows how to rock the decks.

CHRIS BAUGH (Jazzy Jungle) 7-8pm

Chris Baugh was Richmond-raised on a healthy dose of 909 handclaps and four-to-the-floor bass kicks. He cultures an ever-growing record collection spanning the history of underground dance music. When he’s not producing his own music, he gets behind the decks to rock sets never seated in one style. His loves are house & drum & bass music.

ACTIVE SOUL DESIGN – NEW T-SHIRTS AT TURNSTYLE

Local apparel company Active Soul Design is a new addition to the Turnstyle boutique. The ASD crew has released several new styles this spring that will be featured at the artwalk.
