DJ ICEY: Pix & Review

Big ups and lots of breakbeat action was had this weekend in the RVA! Old school and new school heads were getting down on the dancefloor at Ember Music Hall for some May 4th rave times. There was even a Star Wars Bike Scout in attendance. So many good tracks were played from the fantastic DJ’s that threw it down – Lowco, Jesse Split, Paranoid Androidz, and the always stellar DJ Icey. It’s always fun to hear your favorite tracks played by the guy who made them. DJ Icey is a supreme selector and astounding force in breakbeats. That force was fully witnessed on the dance floor in Richmond last Saturday night! It was hard to get a lot of party pictures because the music was SO GOOD! Big shouts to the people who drove from all over Virginia to vibe out and get down to some breakbeats – you are the VIPS! . Till the next time…
