The Turnstyle crew (aka Jesse and Joanna O.) hit the sunshine state for some fun in the sun, family time, rave family time, and of course some good drum and bass in February! It was a super vibe. We cannot wait to go back! We hit Miami first where we caught up with our fun friend Stereotype & the Digital_sessions crew and played a Twitch stream, and also checked out a bunch of amazing art. We completed the trip with a throwdown to celebrate Valentines with drum and bass vibes at the Iron Cow in Orlando for Jungle Love. Thanks to everyone for the amazing Florida hospitality – there are so many to name – you know who you are! #USADNB is looking strong. Missing those beach vibes though.

Digital Sessions Stream

Rolled by to Stereotypes house to play a stream and chill too. The backdrop of Miami on the stream was wicked. We rolled in, played a set and rolled out. It was fun but we didn’t get pix. Thanks so much to Cody, Mike and Gary for the hookup to play some tunes!! Check out these guys on their Twitch Channel – twitch.tv/digital_sessions. And while you’re there give Joanna O. a follow too – twitch.tv/thejoanna_o

Miami Art Vibes

The Wynwood Walls area has some really cool murals and original street prints from some serious art legends Shepard Fairey, Futura, and on and on. It’s really inspiring. The Wynwood Walls gallery specifically has such a great concentration of insane street art murals and original prints and sculptures. It’s absolutely worth spending a few hours in the general area. We checked out live murals on the street too (Big up Boris0a).

The Romero Britto gallery on Lincoln Road is super fun spot to scope too. Taking pics inside an art gallery feels weird though, so we just took one. The gallery people were super nice – shouts to them! The vibe is Super 80’s to Today Pop art. Modern nostalgia pieces in mediums like sculptures, paintings, prints, & so much more. it’s so worth a visit if you are in the area. His art is happiness and super accessible. Takeaway: #romerobritto might be a raver.

If there’s an extremely large scale KAWS piece in the area..we aren’t missing that! Properly checked out the grey Waiting statue this trip in Coral Gables. #Kaws, we love it.
